Obituary of Jim Toth

TOTH, Imre Gyule

The passing of Imre “Jim” Gyule Toth of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Brenda (Brooks) Toth, occurred on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.  Born on January 5, 1942 in Ullo, Hungary, he was a son of the late Imre and Ilona (Csorba (Krausz) Toth. 

 

Jim is survived by his children, Brenda-Gail Toth (Kevin Churchill), Jamie Toth (Elianna Valenzuela Farias) and Jerry Murphy (Tina Baker); step daughter, Amanda (Porter) Russell; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; siblings, László Krausz of Hungary, Irene Leland (Leonard) Blacks Harbour, NB and Anna Gázsó of Hungary; nephew, Adam Leland and several other nieces and nephews.

 

Besides his wife and parents, Jim was predeceased by his grandson, Dante Toth; sister, Bobbi from Hungary; and an infant sister.

 

In keeping with Jim's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.), Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
