Obituary of Ruby Eileen Hagerman
Ruby Eileen Hagerman went to be with the Lord and loved ones on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Born on October 24, 1929, in Kingsley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Bessie (Ruby) Anderson. She was a Member of Nashwaaksis Baptist Church, Active Missionary Society, taught Sunday School, and was involved with the Keen Seniors Group for many years. Ruby also attended NBBI and served extensively at both NBBI and Sandy Cove Bible Camp. She devoted her time to being a loving mother to Julie, being an active church member, volunteering at York Care Center (25 years), attending missionary meetings and socializing with a group of close friends who referred to themselves as the Humming Birds.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Hagerman; daughter, Julie Hagerman; son, Gary Hagerman; and three sisters, infant Leota, Laura Anderson and Pearl Moore.
She is survived by one cousin Edna Smith of Kingsley.
Visitation will take place at the Nashwaaksis Baptist Church on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm, followed immediately by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Bennett officiating and Pastor Bob Dunlop assisting. Interment will take place in Bear Island Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Nashwaaksis Baptist Church, York Care Foundation, Greenhill Lake Camp, Sandy Cove Bible Camp, or the NB Bible Institute.
