Obituary of Anthony Graham Price

It is with heavy hearts, the family announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Graham Price of Fredericton, NB on February 23, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 20, 1956 in Fredericton, he was the son of Shirley (Harris) Price and the late Aubrey Price.

Tony was employed at Hartt Shoe Factory for over twenty years as a piece worker. He enjoyed the outdoors working in his yard and watching the birds on the feeders. He loved tinkering in his shop and fixing up old pieces of machinery and tools for anyone that brought them to him. Tony also loved creating wood burning pictures he drew free hand and made clocks for his family members. He and his fur baby Sadie were frequent customers at Tim Horton’s where they sat outside chatting with friends over coffee and donuts.

In addition to his mother, Tony is survived by his devoted partner Diana Stewart, her daughters, Lisa and Joanne; sisters Jackie Grant (Wayne), Tammy Thebeau (Harvey), Jennie McPhail (Brian); brother, James Price, brother-in-law Phillip Fanjoy; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Troy Aubrey; sisters, Wendy Price and Darcie Fanjoy.

In keeping with Tony’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A private family graveside service will be held in the Spring at the Dayton Cemetery in Douglas, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fredericton SPCA, Dayton Cemetery, Canadian Cancer Society or the donor’s choice.
