Obituary of Theresa Katherine Ledwith

Following a lengthy battle, Theresa Ledwith also known as Theresa Lucky-Duh of Four Falls, NB, passed away peacefully at York Care Manor in Fredericton on February 14th, 2024.

 

Theresa was born in Four Falls on August 5th, 1969, to Glenna and Thomas Ledwith. She was one of 7 sisters and one brother. Theresa was such a joyous soul to be around, and it was never a dull moment with her. She always had so much love to give regardless of who you are. She loved to love and that is one of the many beautiful qualities of her. In her free time, what she loved more than anything was to watch her favorite tv show Reba and to color. She would color the most beautiful pictures because of how much time and effort she would put into just one picture. She was very particular and organized that girl. Music was something else that she loved, and dancing was her therapy. She always knew how to get people up off their feet and have a good time. She was the life of the party. Theresa had such a beautiful joyous soul that you couldn’t help but fall in love with her and had the absolute best listening ear. She showed her family and her few friends unconditional love that we didn’t know we needed and without realizing was the glue to our family.

 

Theresa leaves behind her sisters; Helen Barclay (Mitchell), Tracy Ozark (Bud), Sheila Jones (Derrick), Joan Ledwith (Dave), Joyce Ledwith (Rob), Carlene Flowers (Robert), Connie White, Marlene Tupper, and her best friend Tracy Tupper; her nieces Emily Barclay, Amy Hanson, and Allison Flowers; her nephews Colin Ozark, Scott McGivney, and Robert Flowers Jr; and the many people who played a role in her life at some point of time along with the incredible people at York Care Manor for helping and keeping care of her towards the end of her journey.

 

Theresa was predeceased by her parents; Glenna and Thomas Ledwith, and her brother Joseph (Joe) Ledwith.

 

Respecting the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and a gravesite service will be held in the spring.
