Obituary of Linda Mae Lyons

The passing of Linda Mae Lyons of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Steven Lyons, occurred on January 28, 2024 at Thomas Hall - Shannex.  Born on January 5, 1948 in Doaktown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Russell and Eleanor (Robertson) Speck.

Linda is survived by her son, Brent (Kim); daughter Connie Lynn (Rick); five grandchildren, Ericca, Matthew (Talysia), Jeremy (Kirstin), Justin (Rebecca), and Dylan; two great grandchildren, Kinsley and Jayda; sisters, Sandra Lewis and Anna MacIntosh; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the New Maryland United Church, 875 Route 101, Nasonworth, NB on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 2pm with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. Followed by a reception at the New Maryland Center. A private family graveside service will be held at the New Maryland United Church Cemetery, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Maryland United Church or to a charity of donor’s choice. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Ericca Robinson, Matthew Robinson, Jeremy Fortin, Justin Dionne and Dylan Dionne. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
