Obituary of Pierre Peter Theriault

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pierre (Peter) Theriault, a resident of Fredericton, NB. Pierre, born on August 03, 1940, in Caraquet, NB, was the beloved son of the late Omer and Anna Theriault, and the devoted husband to the predeceased Fernande (Fern) Theriault.

Pierre is survived by his loving children: Gilles Theriault (Janice), Gaston Theriault, Lise Theriault, and Monique Theriault (Edina), as well as his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also remembered by his siblings, Oliver and Clarence. Sadly, Pierre was predeceased by his brother Edmond and his sister Rose. Known affectionately as Peter to those close to him, he was well known in the community of Fredericton. Through his career in the construction business, he met a lot of people and made lots of friends.

Pierre had a genuine and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, a true friend, and a devoted husband. His kindness touched the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impact on the community he called home.

A family and friends service to celebrate Pierre's life will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr., Fredericton on Saturday February 3, 2024 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to pay tribute to Pierre's memory making a donation to Hospice Fredericton or the Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
