FASQUEL, DORIS SHIRLEY

The passing of Shirley Fasquel of Noonan, NB, wife of the late John Fasquel occurred on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 17, 1948 in Shawville, QC, she was the daughter of the late Agnes & Hiram Walls.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Tracy Power (Tom) and Terri Noble (Alain); grandchildren, Kurtis Moore, Katie Nunley, Jonathan Noble, Justin Noble (Amber), Jessica Kirkbride (Bradley); her cherished great grandchildren, Mason and Kaden Noble, Landon and Lacey Kirkbride; brother, Heman Walls (Brenda); several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Cassie.

Besides her husband and parents, Shirley was predeceased by her brothers, Harold, Jim, Roy and Jack.

Shirley worked at multiple banks through out her life. At the time of retirement in 1994 she was working at the TD Tower. She loved to spend time with her family, traveling and shopping. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards and loved flowers, on her multiply trips to town she always came home with more than she needed.

We would like to thank the staff on 4SW, Dr. Boisvert, nurse Abigail for all their care and compassion.

There will be no visitation or service, burial will take place at a later date in Shawville, QC at the Maple Grove Cemetery. Both mom and dad will be laid to rest together at that time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
