Obituary of Ricky James Carten

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Ricky James Carten of Fredericton, NB on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at home at the age of 63.

Rick is survived by sister, Cathy; brothers, Fred (Kathy), Bruce and Casey (Rose Mary) all of Fredericton, NB; nephews, Cory (Tami), Jonathan and Daniel; niece, Terri-Lynn and many cousins. Rick was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Annie Carten and grandparents, Myrtle and Milford Carten.

There will be no visitation or service as that was Rick’s request. York Funeral Home has been entrusted with Rick’s remains. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
