With great sadness, the family of Margareat Marie (Thomas) Green announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at home. Born on July 8, 1956 in Limestone, ME, she was the daughter of the late James Ralph Thomas and Edna Jacqueline (Eatmon) Murdock.

Margareat is survived by son, Terrance “Terry” Kenneth Thomas; grandson, Ekyeh Malcolm Thomas; granddaughter, Christina Marie Thomas; siblings, Sabina Pitts (Neil), Roberta Muse (Keith), Marion Jewett (Rodney), Virginia Drost (Shawn), Marcus Murdock (Jodi), John Murdock, Kim Thomas, Brenda Thomas, James Thomas (Paulette) and Derek Thomas; 26 nieces and nephews and 24 great-nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Margareat is predeceased by step-father, John Alexander Murdock; grandparents, Chester Adolthus and Edna Margarete (McCarty) Eatmon; husband, Brian Green; daughter, Christina Marie Green and brother, George Thomas.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton NB on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 6 – 8pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 2pm with Rev. Neville Gosman officiating. Margaret will be joined with her daughter in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
