With a heavy heart, the family of Jennette Elizabeth Waugh, wife of Melvin Waugh of Fredericton, NB announce her passing Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on May 14, 1940 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred (Bird) Bartlett. Jennette was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also a past member of the Elm City Echoes.

 

In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, Jennette is survived by her children, Tim Waugh (Cheryl), Kelly Waugh (Yvon Paquin), Donna Coyle (Mike) all of Douglas; grandchildren, Jordan (Liz), Josh (Eve), Brittany (Terry), Megan, Trisha, Courtney (Corey); 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley McKinley, Cheryl Arnold, Pat Dupuis; sisters-in-law, Wanda Bartlett, Mavis Kendrick, Linda Waugh, Evelyn Waugh.


Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Bartlett.


A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 2 pm with Pastor Peter Moore officiating.  Honorary pallbearers are Muriel Sanford, Elizabeth Walsh, Marie Hawkins, Carol Pond, Barb Hart and Dianne Clowater. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to Heart and Stroke.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
