He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Emilie, Isabella, Phoenix, Benjamin, Addison, Mackenzie and Eiyra. He is also survived by his siblings; Jimmy Hutchings, Corenna (Rick) Langdon and Collette Rafferty and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his son, Wren Woodworth.

Right out of high school, Bill spent a few years as an Infantry soldier before he joined his father (Red Dog) working on the Oil Rigs. Bill spent most of his life drilling for oil and gas and this took him to many destinations around the world. He worked in many different lands as well as many offshore oil rigs. This career earned him the nickname “Bill Dog”.

After he retired from rig work, Bill moved to Doaktown, New Brunswick where he met his companion, Lisa Boyd. Here he spent his last days enjoying the slower quieter pace of life on his property by the Miramichi River.
