Obituary of Trevor Earle Norrad

With great heartache, the family of Trevor Earle Norrad, husband of Erin (O’Donnell) Norrad of Porter Cove, NB, announce his sudden passing on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Born on August 23, 1967 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Cecil and Margaret “Weed” (Lovelace) Norrad.

Trevor was a lineman, woodsman and fishing guide. He loved to play and coach hockey, fish, sail the river and tell stories. 

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Trevor is survived by his sons, Noah and Seth Norrad; siblings, Yvonne McKay, Harry Norrad (Regina), Winnie Munn, Weldon Norrad (Mary), Perry Norrad (Judy), Isabel Munn (Juddy), Annabelle Norrad; mother-in-law Louise O'Donnell; sisters-in-law, Angie  (John), Anita,  Cassie  (Travis), Marilyn and Susan.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews, who he loved fiercely.

Besides his parents, Trevor was predeceased by his siblings, Laura Norrad, Ray Norrad and Gladwin “Gabby” Norrad; father-in-law, Wallace O'Donnell; brothers-in-law, George McKay and Milton Munn. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. 

We welcome all to join us for a VERY casual gathering on Saturday, November 11^th, 2023 at the shop, 5740 Route 8, Astle, NB. Drop in anytime after 2:00 p.m. to share your linework, woods work, hockey or other Trevor stories.  Bring a chair and have a say in his memory. 

Interment will take place in Bloomfield Ridge at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Royal Canadian Legion, Normandy Branch #78 in Boiestown or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
