Obituary of Suzanne Doreen Gallop

The passing of Suzanne Doreen Gallop of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of the late Douglas  Henry Gallop, occurred on October 28, 2023 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on October 28, 1948 in Kentville, NS,  she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Evelyn (Yates) Saunders.
Suzanne worked as a Educational Assistant at Gibson Neill Memorial Elementary School for Anglophone West. Suzanne lived for her grandchildren. She cherished her time with family and friends at her cottage (The Lake House).

 

Suzanne is survived by her son, Christopher Gallop (Wendy) of Keswick Ridge; grandchildren, Emma, Adam, and Michael; sisters, Sharon White (Robert), Cathy Wilson (Wayne) and Irene Saunders; brother, Mike Saunders (Judy); several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Garfield and Patrick Saunders (Brenda).

 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 6 to 9 PM.  The funeral will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 1402 Route 104, Zealand, NB on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11 am with Rev. Debbie Edmondson officiating.  Interment will take place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Zealand following the service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Gibson Neill Memorial Breakfast Program. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
