Moss, Donna Jean 

The passing of Donna Jean (Scott) Moss of Cross Creek, NB, wife of William Thomas Moss, occurred on October 18, 2023 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on April 20, 1943 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Violet (Thomas) and John 'Jack' Scott. Donna was very active in the Stanley Anglican Parish, where she was a lifetime member of the ACW and the Treasurer for 63 years. She enjoyed square dancing and cross-country skiing. Donna loved to cook. She, along with her husband, ran a U-pick blueberry farm and was known to everyone as Mrs. Blueberry.  She and her husband loved to travel and they did many bus tours within Canada, the US and travelled to Alberta and BC to visit family and enjoyed a Caribbean Cruise.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her children, Anne Marie Spencer (Gary), Tammy Dorrington (Jack) and Thomas Moss; grandchildren, Ryan and Lesley, Danielle and Allison, Todd and Shane and their mother, Judy; siblings, Robert Scott (June) and Edith Hay (Clifford); adopted siblings, Rosemary and Brent Scott; sisters-in-law, Betty MacGillivray and Rosemary Ingraham; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her grandparents, Edith 'Mum' and Roy Thomas; brother Frederick Scott; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Mary Moss.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.  A Memorial Service will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Cross Creek, NB on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2 pm with Father Nicholas Saulnier officiating.  Interment will take place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery following the service.
