Obituary of Kelly Jean Munn

It’s with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Kelly Jean Munn (Burke) at Hospice Fredericton on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the age of 60.

Kelly was born on July 30, 1963, in Fredericton, NB, daughter of the late William and Marie Burke. She was one of five children. She leaves behind her husband, David Munn of 37 years; three children, Shawn (Rebecca) of Doaktown, NB, Nicholas (Shyla) of Bloomfield, NB, and Josey (Amelia) of Doaktown, NB. She was the loving grandmother of four grandchildren, Brennan, Bryden, Alexis and Madelyn; brother William (Dawn) Lyons of Carrols Crossing, NB, Billie (Lana) Burke of Ludlow, NB, Chris (Cindy) Burke of Bampton, Ont. and Nicole Burke of Rusagonis, NB; many special nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kelly was an avid animal lover; she loved her two dogs and two cats just like they were her children. Kelly loved the outdoors, being in her garden, and music. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Kelly was the type of person who made everybody around her feel loved and accepted. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Lions Club in Boiestown, NB, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any organization of choice in Kelly’s honour.
