With deep sadness we announce the passing of Roy Tilley Crouse of Fredericton, NB, husband of Cora Marie (Lavigne) Crouse, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at his home. Born on March 20, 1933 in Zealand, NB, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Brewer) Estey and the late Roy Crouse. Roy owned and operated a local concrete company. He was extremely hardworking and was a partner in a construction business for many years. After retiring he enjoyed camping, sightseeing and leisurely drives along the countryside. Roy always had dogs and enjoyed walking them every day. Roy loved the outdoors and had a passion for woodworking.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Marr (Jeff); son, Kenneth Crouse (Bev); grandchildren, Trisha Crouse (Scott) and Andrew Crouse (April); great-grandchildren, Amanda McAfferty (Mark) and Chris McAfferty; sisters, Maxine Finnie, Juanita Brewer, Yvonne Clark and Marjorie Summerville; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his sisters, Judith Brewer, Ardith Munn, Paulette Coughlan; brothers, Curtis Crouse and Orville Crouse.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Fredericton SPCA, or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
