Obituary of Jon Edward Soderman

The passing of Jon Edward Soderman of Cross Creek, NB, occurred on September 13, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family and in the arms of his children.  Born on March 7, 1950 in Wappingers Falls, New York, USA, he was the son of the late Helen Jeanne (Bendi) and Arne Soderman. Jon was a talented woodworker and a master of many talents, above all he was a loving father. He enjoyed playing and writing his own music, appreciated history, early homesteads and antiques, and enjoyed taking care of his children and animals.

Jon is survived by his children, Otto Soderman (Shelby), Ara Soderman, Ada “Daisy” McGee (Tyler), Asa Soderman, Mya Soderman, Helen Soderman, Isobel Soderman, and Axel Soderman; grandchildren, Lyla, Autum, Harlow, Sophy, Garnet, Lena, Baron, Amos, Rolland, Hoby, Mahala, and Rylan; chosen son, Caleb Doetsch (Amanda); niece Lillian and nephew Arne.
 

Besides his parents, Jon was predeceased by his brothers Arne and Gary Soderman.
