Obituary of Robert Elwood Jones

With fond memories the family wish to announce the passing of Robert Elwood Jones of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 1, 1978 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of Darrell and Judy (Cathcart) Jones.  Robert enjoyed sports, nature and spending time and helping others. 

In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his brother, Brad Jones; aunt, Sharon Cathcart (late Bryan); uncle, Ronnie Jones (Betty); several cousins; and close friend, Sarah Wood.

Visitation will take place from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10-11am; followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am with Rev. Paul Ranson officiating.  The service will also be available through the churches Facebook page (Link available at www.yorkfh.com at top of the obituary). Interment will take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, 12 Neighbours, Fredericton Food Bank or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
