Kirk had a way of just making everything light and comical. He quickly earned a very special place in our hearts and our girls' hearts as well. They will forever fondly remember their sleepovers with him and Aunt Pearl, opening their presents with him on Christmas Day and just how comfortable they felt in his company. We love you Uncle Kirk. Rest Easy, until we meet again.
Love Always, Courtney, Jeff, Brooklynn, Alexa and Danielle xo

Steve , Brian, Karen, Mrs. Johnson and family.
Words are not available to describe the loss you must feel and the void felt by Kirks passing. Kirk was a great friend for a lot of years and kept coming and going in our lives . We had many great times and laughs about our childhood and the antics mostly started by Kirk. He took great pleasure in his ability in the kitchen and explaining construction methods to the unknowing. Sadly we hadn't connected in the last 5-6 years and that is my loss.
My thoughts are with you all. Rob Everard

Dear Clara, Karen, Steve, Brian and Jodi. To Yvonne, his daughters Megan, Kristen and Catherine, plus all his nephews and nieces, grand children and extended family.
Searching for the right words to pay tribute to Kirk is next to impossible for a man who touched all with an everlasting memory of smiles, laughter and adventure. Kirk was not just my cousin but a dear lifelong friend filled many stories. And to tell them all would be another book in itself. From our first fight as kids to him fighting off our foes. From dating the same sisters to dating the motorcycle chicks and then getting caught by his dad Isaac as we all snuck into the old Labrador trappers tent in my yard. How many times we reflected on that time and just laughed hysterically at it. And then in latter years of celebrating his birthdays with BBQ's and Lobster boil ups at Bev's place on Baikie Place in Goose Bay. And I just have to share this one. We were all at a local club, dancing the night away when a guy started to cozy up to Bev on the dance floor. I thought little of it as little did he know that Bev could easily put him in his place if needed be. However, Kirk saw what was happening and was having no part of it. So imagine if you will, Kirk dancing his funky John Travolta moves, in his stocking feet, vamps as we know it, made a few smooth moves and slid across the floor between Bev and that guy. He looked down and with his John Travolta arm and hand pointing away and said,
"Get!" The guy hesitated..."I said, GET!"
As the guy hurried away, Kirk spun around on his vamps and danced back to the dance floor, shaking his hips and shoulders, that unforgettable smile and laughing all the way back onto the dancefloor. A cousin, a friend? Yes indeed and I loved him like a brother. Find Peace and Comfort in reflecting upon the fondest of memories as there are so many. Rest In Peace, Kirk! Til we all meet again.
