Renouf, Theresa Marie

The passing of Theresa Marie Renouf of Scotch Lake, NB, wife of the late John James Renouf, occurred on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on July 7, 1935 in Fischells, NL, she was the daughter of the late Alfread Young and Viola (Falle) Young. She was a social butterfly that loved dancing and making new friends wherever she went. A mother’s love is something that no one can explain. It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifices and pain. It is endless, unselfish, and enduring come what may, for nothing can destroy it or take that love away.

Theresa is survived by her children, Debbie Renouf (Tony), Sharon Bennett (Arsene),  Brian Renouf (Joselyn), Ruby Noseworthy (Derek), Barbara Currie (Mitch),    Dwayne Renouf (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Rodney, Rhonda, Arsene Jr, Fallon, Kayla, Johnny, Samantha, Stephanie, Alex, Dan, Leah, Ryan and James; great-grandchildren, Tienaissa, Jashawna, Serena, Caitlin, Jessica, Kylie, Hudson, Cloe, Blaine, Austin, Levi, and Joey; great-great-grandchildren, Gracie, Weslie, and Madison; daughter-in-law, Sheila Carpenter. She also leaves behind many close friends which were just as close as her own children and a very close companion, Donald Saunders.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, David Renouf.

At Theresa’s request there will be no public services at this time. Interment will take place in Newfoundland at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes association.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
