The passing of Ruth Marian Grondin of Fredericton, NB, wife of Rick McLeod, occurred on Monday, August 28, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on September 18, 1954 in Chatham, NB, she was a daughter of the late Antoine and Dorothy (Zolondek) Grondin.  Ruth worked for many years in Tourism with the Province of New Brunswick.

In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her daughter, Dove McLeod; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her siblings, Sharon McCormick, Judy Scott, Terry Grondin, John Grondin and Michael Grondin.

In keeping with Ruth’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
