Obituary of Ronald Harry Wilson

The sudden passing of Ronald Harry Wilson, husband of Patricia (McKenzie) occurred on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in North Tay, NB on August 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Harry and Daisy (Wilkins) Wilson. Ronald was the owner and operator of Tay Creek Convenience and he  served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Marysville and of the Upper Nashwaak Lions Club. 

 

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Tom (Sarah), Lloyd, and Peter (Susan); his daughters, Janice, Rhonda, Nancy (Darren), and Jennifer; grandchildren, Corey, Chris, Nick and Cody Wilson, Julie Dorcas, Robert Knapp, Samantha Burton, Tyler and Derrick Cosman, Megan Jolicoeur-Sajorne, Brendan Jolicoeur, Jorden, Megan, Ty, Lauren and Dylan Allen, Alex and Hailee MacQueen.  14 great-grandchildren, his brother, Lewis Wilson (Joan) of Kingsley Road and several nieces and nephews. 

 

Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by sisters, Floris, Edith, Shirley; and brothers Vance, Leslie, Charlie, Rodney and son-in-law Dale Cosman. 

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. At Ronald’s request there will be no service at this time. A Graveside Service will be held  at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11 am. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com 

 

The family would like to thank Dr. McKenzie and the nurses in the palliative care unit for the excellent care.
