I have just noticed Sister Charlotte's obituary. My mother, Barbara Townshend, lived for a short time at Windsor Court. The two women had great conversations while having their evening walks in the hallways. And I always enjoyed the conversations we had too. Martha Townshend Colford

I have fond memories of Sister Charlotte during her time in Stanley. Because of the fact that the various churches in Stanley work and worship together on occasion, and because of Sister Charlotte's outgoing and friendly personality and ecumenical outlook, a lot of us non-Catholics got to know her. She seemed to belong to the whole community. She was a great person. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Sr. Charlotte Lockhart taught here at Port Hood Consolidated for many years and taught many of our children along with being a fellow teacher with my husband, Cecil. Always a smile, always a joke told, always a generous and beautiful person. May she rest in peace. Love Cecil and Mary Janet MacDonald, Port Hood, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

I am very sorry for your loss. I have known Sister Charlotte since I was a little girl. I always loved her smile, laugh and her hugs especially. I had the pleasure of helping her organize her apartment downtown and then again while she was in Windsor Court. She will be missed by so many people, especially me. An amazing woman! My heartfelt condolences.

The absolute best at road trips! Heather and I had some of the greatest adventures with Sister Charlotte driving around Shediac, and PEI. She was there at my first true musical, Ann of Green Gables, which I never forgot.
I loved hearing about the students in her home economics class and how she would be thrilled when the boys realized they could cook too!
Charlotte, you will be greatly missed. May you rest in peace and God bless ❤️
