Obituary of Jack Merrel Estey

The passing of Jack Merrel Estey, husband of Sheila (Brewer) Estey, formerly of Zealand, occurred on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at York Care Centre in Fredericton.  Born on February 27, 1941 in Zealand, NB, he was the son of Julia (Morehouse) Estey and the late Ossie Estey. 

In addition to his mother and his loving wife, Jack is survived by his three sons, Mitchell Estey (Sue), Dwight Estey (Jocelyne), Troy Estey; grandchildren, Billy-Jo, Adam, Sheila, Mattie, Jennifer, Matthew, Dominic; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Lucas, Addy, Shea; sisters, Vera Irion (Frank), Gladys Brawn, Faye Brawn (Allan), Julie Burtt, Penny Sharpe (Stephen); several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, Jack was predeceased by his brother, Vernon Estey; and sister, Wilma Estey.

A Private Graveside Service will be held in Zealand Community Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
