Obituary of Patricia Donna Briggs

The passing of Patricia Donna Briggs of Fredericton, NB occurred on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. She was born on January 16, 1953 at the Victoria Public Hospital.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Donna Briggs; paternal grandparents, George and Rose Briggs; and maternal grandparents, George and Cora Major.

Patricia was a teller with the Bank of Montreal until she resigned due to poor health. She loved shopping and her cat, Lizzie.

She is survived by her brother, David (Anne); her niece, Lori Horwood (Scott); her nephew, Allan (Aya); three grand nieces; two grand nephews; one aunt, Ruth Webber and many cousins.

A special thank you is given to the staff of York Manor for their care and attention during Patsy’s stay.

Although there will be no visitation by request, a Private Family Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolence may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
