I am so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I volunteered a lot with her over the years in St. John Ambulance. I started as a youth and spent a lot of time with Shirley showing me the ropes. I always looked forward to seeing and chatting with her at our St. John Ambulance reunion dinners. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed, but her and her beloved Syd are together again.
Marc Basque of St. John Ambulance has asked me to send along his condolences as well and unfortunately he will be working and unable to attend the visitation or the service.
