Obituary of Ronald Edward Paul

The peaceful passing of Ronald Edward Paul of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Mary Louise Paul, occurred on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Shannex-Neill Hall.  Born on June 27, 1931 in Gagetown, NB, he was a son of the late Edward Isaac and Mary Julia (Nash) Paul.

Ronald is survived by his children, Anna Nash (Nelson Nash Sr. “Kaggie”), Theresa Logan, Marion Dixie Paul, Julie Paul, Irene Logan (Richie), Nelson Paul, Thomas Paul and Veronica Edwards; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

 

Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Paul; second wife, Ann Isabelle Paul; daughters, Phyllis Paul and Rose Paul; son, Autrine Paul “Jose”; siblings, John E. Paul, John A. Paul, Nelson E. Paul, James E. Paul, Frederick R. Paul and Walter E. Paul. 

 

In keeping with Ronald’s wishes the Ceremony, Prayers and Sacred Fire took place from July 31 until August 3, 2023 and then family returned him to his home on Eqpahak Island.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
