So sad to hear of Mae's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor of mine for 25 years on Pugh Street and I often took my dog for a walk with her and Monty and Monty II. Her and Mr. Akerely we're so patient when my daughter was young and learning to ride her bike. The Akerely house was her go-to spot to turn around and I'd often find her sitting in the curb, patting Monty and chatting away with the both of them.
