Obituary of Malcolm Ralph Haines

Please share a memory of Malcolm to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

The sudden passing of Malcolm Ralph Haines of Fredericton, NB, husband of Katie (Matthews) Haines, occurred on July 2, 2023 at home.  Born on September 2, 1946 in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Ralph Haines and Madelene Pugh.

Malcolm was a friend to all who knew him, he was kind, thoughtful, always doing good deeds quietly for strangers and friends alike. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and making sure all the jobs were “done well”. He liked to spend time outdoors and travel when able.  Mac loved to cook and share with his family and friends, making the best bologna sandwiches and lunches from “Macs Takeout”.   In more recent years he took up painting and learning to play the guitar.

Malcolm is survived by sons, Chris Bennett (Christine) and Timothy Seeley; daughters Karen Tims (Jason) and Paula Wood (Stephen); grandchildren, Matthew, Matthew, Dylan, Ekyeh, Kendra, Katelyn, Rylie and Ehtiyan.
