Rebecca MacNabb

Obituary of Rebecca Marie Elizabeth Lourdes MacNabb

Please share a memory of Rebecca to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Becky (McKeil) MacNabb announce her passing, peacefully at home, on June 21st, 2023. Becky is survived by her loving family – husband, Paul, sister, Mary Forbes and her husband Robert Forbes; brother-in-law, Laurie MacNabb, nieces, Terra, Rikki, Sarah and families, nephews, Jeffery, Chris, Matthew and families. She was predeceased by her parents, Eileen (Casey) and Cecil McKeil as well as Paul’s parents, Gordon and Joan MacNabb and brother-in-law, Barry. Becky was a good friend to many; however, she was especially grateful for the lifelong friendships she had with Joanne, Rhonda, Judy, Gaye-Anne, Yvonne, Janie (deceased) and Ferne (deceased).

For the last 25 years her favourite activity was spending time at the cottage at Lake George where she also developed friendships that meant the world to her.

A special thank you to Dr. Patricia Bryden. Also thank you to Dr. Kelsey Cameron and Hospice Fredericton, as well as the hard-working staff in the Oncology Department at DECRH.

At Becky’s request there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home. Throughout her life Becky loved all animals. She rescued many and provided them with love and care. For those that are inclined, a donation to any animal rescue charity or Hospice Fredericton in Becky’s memory would be appreciated. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
