Obituary of Carolyn Ann Jones

The passing of Carolyn Ann Jones of Fredericton, NB, wife of Ralph Jones, occurred on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on May 14, 1946 in York County, NB, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Kathleen (White) Yerxa. She was an active Member of Burtts Corner Christian Church and a Past Member of Good Sams Trailer Group. She worked for Wilson Insurance, until her retirement, where she made many lifelong friends.

In addition to her husband, Carolyn is survived by her children, Beth Morehouse (James) and Jamie Jones (Monika Kovacs); grandchildren, Evan, Aaron and Lauren Morehouse and Elyse Jones; sister, Sandra Waddingham (Randy); brother, Edwin Yerxa; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 7-9 pm.  The Funeral Service will take place at Burtts Corner Christian Church, 1021 Route 104, Burtts Corner, NB on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2 pm with Pastor Dan Foreman and Pastor Graham Crandall officiating.  The service will also be available through the churches YouTube page (see link at top of the obituary).  Pallbearers for the service will be Sebastian Jones, Kevin Jones, Lee Flowers, Evan Morehouse, Aaron Morehouse and Andrew Waddingham.  A Private Family Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery, Keswick, NB. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care and compassion given to Carolyn and her family by the Extra Mural and Hospice Nurses and support staff. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Burtts Corner Christian Church, Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or the charity of the donor's choice.
