Obituary of Kyle Flavis Jones

JONES, KYLE FLAVIS 

The passing of Kyle Flavis Jones of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of Susan  (Browne) Jones occurred on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Upper River Valley Hospital.  Born on August 9, 1945 in Fredericton, NB,  he was the son of the late Flavis and Evelyn (Crandall) Jones. He retired from UNB Security, as Active Director.  Kyle was a member of Dorn Ridge Church of Christ.  He loved the outdoors, enjoyed doing yard work, washing and keeping his truck clean, and having coffee on the deck with Jody on his lap. Kyle loved spending time with his children and grandsons. 

In addition to his wife, Kyle is survived by his children, Kerry Jones (Michelle Campbell) of Burtts Corner, NB and Krista Wong (Andy) of Campbell River, BC; grandchildren, Daniel and Nicholas; sisters, Marilyn Whynott and Ginny Sargeson (Terry); brothers in law, Eldon (Shirley) Fowler; Warren Browne (Betty) and Garth Brown (the late Marilyn); sister in law, Almeda Comeau (John),  several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Myrna Jones, Mavis Fowler and brother in law, Allan Whynott.
 

There will be a Private Family Memorial Service at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Upper River Valley Hospital Foundation, Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
