Obituary of John Aldon Connors

The passing of John Aldon Connors of Moose Mountain, NB, husband of Viola (Hinchey) Connors occurred on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the Upper Valley River Hospital.  Born on February 13, 1941 in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late George and Lyna (Isnor) Connors.  He worked as an accountant for Accurate Tax and Accounting Services. John served in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corp. and was a 60 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4.   He enjoyed woodworking and animals.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Rosborough of Fredericton, NB; step children, Farran Davis of Coles Island, NB, Rose Bulger of Bath, NB, Cindy Davis of New Maryland, NB, Cora Moorcroft of Fredericton, NB, Gail Davis of Fredericton, NB; three grandchildren; brother, George Connors of Mississauga, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Philip and sisters, Phyllis and Ethel.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, May 28, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 3 pm with Rev.
