Obituary of Jean Lyons

LYONS, DARLENA JEAN 

The passing of Darlena "Jean" Lyons of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Eric Lyons Sr., occurred on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at York Care Centre.  Born on May 11, 1956 in Priceville, NB,  she was the daughter of the late Haviland and Lena (Price) Storey.  Jean was a free spirit, who was very social and loved her family dearly.  She loved to travel around New Brunswick to visit her family.

Jean is survived by her son, Eric Lyons Jr. of Zealand, NB; sister, Della Brewer of Woodstock, NB; brother, Bruce Storey (Deborah) of Doaktown, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Shyanne Hunter, Lillian Brewer and her brother, Leon Storey.

The Funeral Service will take place at Gateway of Hope Assembly, 35 Company Road, Boiestown, NB on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 2 pm with Rev. Rick Brewer officiating.  Interment will take place in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
