Obituary of June Ida Alexander

We are sad to announce Mum took her last trip across the stone bridge on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Mum grew up in Midland, NB, the daughter of the late Dick Fidler and Eva Drost. June is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

 

She is survived by her son, Don (Angela) and their children, Leigh-Ann MacFarlane (Andrew), Michael Alexander (Stephanie), Mitchell Alexander (Victoria); her son, Doug and his children, Zachary Alexander (Samantha), Adam Alexander (Brett), James, Charlotte, William and their mother Rachel; several nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents, June was predeceased by her husband, Earl (1996); and cherished son, Robert “Bob” (1984).

 

Mum Experienced terrific care at Carlisle Care Home, DECRH and York Care Centre. Thank you all!

 

At June’s request, there will be no public services. A private interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
