Obituary of Brad Gill

Please share a memory of Brad to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with profound sadness that the family of James Bradley “Brad” Gill announce his passing, at home by accident, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Born in Fredericton, NB on March 20, 1963, Brad was the youngest son of the late Lloyd and Betty (Elizabeth MacWilliam) Gill.

Brad was a devoted NASCAR follower and Boston Bruins fan…his brother Ron will forgive him for that weakness as Ron is a Montreal Canadiens fan. As the youngest son Brad did everything his way and followed his own path.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his hunting camp at Scotch Lake and 4 wheeling with his buddies, especially Dan Stubbs and his wife Charlene. Where ever he travelled his devoted canine companion Tasha was by his side.

Brad is survived by his brothers, Robert (Debbie), Ron (Karen) and his beloved sister, Debbie Gill; brother- in-law, Frank Logan; his aunt Betty MacWilliam, uncle Sam Gilbey; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Beside his parents, Brad was predeceased by his sister, Brenda Logan; brother- in- law, Richard Wilson; a great nephew, Todd McCoy; as well as several Aunts and Uncles.

A Graveside Committal Service for family and close friends, will take place in St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery with The Ven. Kevin Stockall officiating.  A Gathering and Reception will take place in St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall, 770 McEvoy Street, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 1:30-4 pm.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
