To Janice's immediate family and especially Deb Hollingsworth (whom I also worked with)....my deepest condolescences :(
Irronically enough I have been prepping and Going LIVE with a Meditech Hospital Information System Upgrade....an excercise that I have done many times with Janice at the Chalmers over the years. I'd like to think her positive attitude and willingness to help with guide us through this update as well positively as our guardian angel! She was a pleasure to work with and I always admired her keen sense of knowledge for hospital processes when she looked after Admissions/Registrations. She was always so helpful! We had great chats and always talked in the fall of the year to see whos family member was lucky enough to get their names drawn for a Moose License :).
A great lady that will be missed by many but never forgotten!

I am shocked and heartbroken to hear this devastating news. Janice and I shared an office when OR Booking was just the two of us. She was the lead and a bottomless wealth of knowledge. She was calm under pressure, had the respect of all the surgeons and the trust of the OR staff. We shared many “work” stories, both good and sad but it was her love of family that will remain with me the most. After Randy, Cory and Jeffrey were the center of her world and from the minute they were born she was their fearless protector. I enjoyed, and have shared, many hilarious Edwards boys’ stories over the years, right up until the last time we spoke. I’d be lying if I said recent conversations didn’t lean more toward her beautiful grandchildren. There was no mistaking that Janice was a very, very proud grandmother. She definitely was also a proud Seymour/Saunders daughter, sister, niece, aunt and granddaughter. The love she had for her parents, brothers, Debbie and Mook was limitless. When any of you hurt, so did she but on the flip side she loved rejoicing in your accomplishments and happiness.
Janice, I imagine you are having a great little reunion party with Mook, Jeanette, Warren, Wendy and Steve. As sad as those you left behind are, they are equally as happy to have you back in the fold.
Randy, I am so sad and guilty that I won’t be there on Thursday to pay my respects. I am away looking after my grandchildren. Please know my absence has no reflection on my respect for Janice.
