Obituary of Wendell Gordon Harris

With heavy hearts the family of Wendell Gordon Harris wish to announce his passing on February 17, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Wendell was the son of the late Ronald and Treva (Tracy) Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Dorcas) Harris; his children, Melanie Harris (Michael Dubee) and Nathan Harris; his beloved granddaughter, Gracie Harris; his sister, Sherry (Tony) Phillips; brother, Warren (Barb) Harris; brother in law, Brett (Linda) Dorcas; along with several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephew.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Mowry officiating.  Interment will take place in Tracy Baptist Cemetery, Tracy, NB at a later date.   If desired, donations in memory of Wendell may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Wendell’s family would like to express their gratitude for the care and compassion he received from Valerie and Megan (Extra Mural Program) and from the Intensive Care Staff of the DECH ICU.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
