Obituary of Anna Louise Vrolyk

 

VROLYK, ANNA LOUISE (NEE SPENCER)

The passing of Anna Louise Vrolyk of Fredericton, NB, wife of Cornelius Vrolyk occurred on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Fredericton Hospice House.  Born on August 16, 1936 in Cape Breton, NS, she was the daughter of the late Milford and Cassie (MacKenzie-Howie) Spencer. Anna was a sales lady.  She enjoyed gardening, swimming, walking and crafts.

 

In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by her daughters, Norma Vrolyk (Dale O’Neill), Kathy Stephenson, Ria Ten Napel (Cor) of Holland and son, Brian Vrolyk (Tanya); grandchildren, Justin McGloin, Jessica DeLong, Brandon Vrolyk, Tyler Vrolyk, Angelina Ten Napel, Marco Ten Napel, Krystle Sichky, Darik Sichky and Kattina Stephenson; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Roy, Lowell and William “Billy” Spencer.

 

In keeping with Anna’s wishes there will be no visitation; a Private Family Service will take place at a later date.   Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, NB Kidney Foundation or to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.).
