Obituary of Pauline Mary Davis

 It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Pauline Mary Davis of Hanwell, NB, wife of the late Douglas Howard Davis occurred on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on January 26, 1932 in Lake George, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Donnelly) Parker.  She was an avid quilter and loved to read.  Pauline was a member of the Cotton Mill Quilter Guild and Elm City Quilters Guild.  She liked to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  

Pauline is survived by her children, Donald Davis (Rachel Martin) of Moncton, NB and Patricia McDowell (Gregory) of Tracyville, NB; grandchildren, Pauline (Mathieu Cormier), Melanie (Gilles Gosselin), Elise (Luc Gallant), Jeffrey (Lisa Rollny), Kalita and Kyle (Keri LeClair); great grandchildren, Cedric, Audrey, Evelyne, Florence and Octavia; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Ronald Davis; sisters, Alice Kitchen, Dorothy Murphy, Thelma Burgoyne, and Theresa McGillicuddy; brother, Ralph Parker.

The family would like to say thank-you to her niece, Theresa Goodine for her care.

A Private Graveside Service will take place in Acton Cemetery at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Acton Cemetery or to a charity of one's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
