Dear Bryan...I just read the news that Lorna has passed from this life. Her photo in the newspaper, her lovely smile, conveys just what a nice lady she was...welcoming, friendly and kind. She set a great example for youth and others through her years of dedication to the Guiding movement. Volunteerism is what adds quality to communities and to our lives. Lorna certainly provided that quality for many through the Girl Guides, her faith community and the IODE. I send you and your family my heartfelt condolences at this time of loss, and ask God to give you His assured comfort. Carole Dilworth

To the Lutz-Wallace Family: Our sincere condolences to all of you at this time of sadness.
I met Lorna through Girl Guides. She was a spectacular mentor and guiding light as I began my volunteer career as a Guider.
Her engaging personality, her warm smile, and her sparkling eyes helped to instill in me the confidence I needed to engage in Guiding activities that I had never before experienced! She exemplified the true sisterhood of Guiding as she graciously shared
her time, her talents, her knowledge, and her friendship. Thank you for the time so so willingly devoted to us.
Love and Prayers,
Ivy and Ed Bujold

Cyril, Fern and families,
I am so very sorry to read of your mothers passing. As a young teacher at Smythe Street school I appreciated so much the wonderful families I encountered there and that definitely included The Lutze-Wallace family. Please pass on my condolences to your dad as well. Cyril and Fern you were a couple of my true favourites and your mom I’m sure has left you with some beautiful memories. I’m so very sorry. Sincerely, Valerie Drury

I have known Lorna through the wonderful world of Girl Guides since I was a young Guider in Burtts Corner in the early 1970"s. She offered to accompany me as the Licensed Camper with our Guides when I had no one local to go with me, and she was so patient and helpful with me, and so generous to give of her free time for a young lady she knew not at all. I have always thought that said so much about her as a person and as a Guider. Over the years we shared Trefoil Guild meetings and activities and her love of Guiding was still strong. We have lost a wonderful Girl Guide and a lovely lady. Our sincere condolences to the family
