Obituary of Joan Mary Taylor

The passing of Joan Mary Taylor of Fredericton, NB, wife of John Taylor, occurred on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on February 21, 1948 in Lorne, NB, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby (Lapointe) Carrier.  Joan was a retired cook from Hugh John Flemming Building (Ranger School).  She was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed playing cards.  Joan was affiliated with St. Anthony's Parish, Fredericton, NB.    

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her children, Michael Taylor, Joel Taylor and Jeannie Forget (Jason); grandchildren, Alicia Taylor, Jamie Forget, Courtney Taylor, Katie Taylor, Jacob Forget and Jemma Forget; great grandchildren, Jerssey, Ava, Ryker, Lucas, Aurora and Jack; sister Irma Arbeau; several nieces and nephews; and long time and best friend, Dawn Wood and her family.

Besides her parents, Joan was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas Carrier, Ruby Carrier, Thomas Junior Carrier, June Carrier, Georgie Carrier, Jackie Carrier and Jules Carrier.

In keeping with Joan's wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  A Private Family burial will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.  For those who wish, donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Parish (Building Fund) or to a charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
