CARNAHAN, RAYMOND “RAY” ALVIN 

The passing of Raymond Alvin Carnahan of McLeod Hill, NB, husband of the late Shirley (Vibert) Carnahan occurred on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at home.  Born on July 3, 1947 in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Alvin and Jean (Gallan) Carnahan. Ray enjoyed attending flea markets, car shows and Tim Hortons; he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ray is survived by his children, Danny Carnahan (Jenna), Matthew Carnahan and Laura Carnahan; grandchildren, Emma Hallett, Jayden (and his mother, Chantille) and Brantley Carnahan (and his mother, Lindsay) and Farrah Brewer; siblings, Royce Carnahan (Edna) of Dumfries, NB, Dorothy Irwin (Jim) of Whitehorse, YK, Ella Leslie (John) of Dumfries, NB and Debby Hine (Rick) of Scotch Lake, NB; special cousins, Alvin and Dean Campbell, Adele Moorman and Colleen Morrison; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda Carnahan; special aunts, Martha Gallan and Helen Campbell (John) of Wainfleet, ON and very special cousin, Glen Campbell.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 12-2 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be; Danny Carnahan, Matthew Carnahan, Jayden Carnahan, David Leslie, Rick Hine and Royce Carnahan. Interment will take place in Blissville United Baptist Cemetery, Blissville, NB.
