Obituary of Russell Stephen Hoar

The family of Russell Stephen Hoar announces his passing on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Windsor Court, Fredericton, NB. Russell was born March 29, 1928 to the late Ira and Mildred (Henry) Hoar.

Russell joined NB Tel as a Refrigeration Technician in 1970, having retired in 1991.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Candace Gibson of Toronto, ON; son, Paul (Cindy) Kelly of Oshawa, ON; Stepson, Harold (Sandra) Moore of Fredericton, NB; step daughter, Kathy Moore of Montmartre, SK; grand daughter, Shannon (Tyler) Stagg of Oshawa, ON; step grandson, Brian (Laura) Moore of North Vancouver, BC; step granddaughter, Deborah Moore of New Market, ON; great grandchildren, Landon and Ashton Stagg, Taylor and Devin Moore; sister in law, Edie Hoar of Boundary Creek, NB as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with his wife, Annie (Peterson) Hoar, he was predeceased by his brother, Arnold Hoar; sisters, Willa (husband Vincent) Tracy and Marjorie (husband Henry) Gibson.

A very special thank you to the staff of Windsor Court for the kindness, support and assistance shown to Russell.

Visitation will be at Bridge Church (Marysville Baptist Church) on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 12-2 pm with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 pm.
