Obituary of Sheila Agnes Doak

It is with great sadness the family announces that Sheila Agnes Doak passed away peacefully at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2022. She was a loving mother and grandmother whom we will all miss very dearly. Sheila is survived by her four daughters, Ruth (Robert Read), Dawn Pratt, Wanda Doak, Dorothey Doak; grandchildren, Shellie (Steven), Jennifer (Jamie), Justin (Ted), Pam, Rachel, Rosara (Connor), Rossco (Baley), Kenneth (Shelby) and Alisha (Kyle); several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Weldon O’Donnell; her husband, James Doak; and special friend, Eldon

.

Sheila will always be remembered by her love of sweets, telling stories, her witty sense of humor and she never missed an opportunity to enjoy her favorite meal of fish and chips at the local restaurant or canteen.

Sheila’s family would like to send out a huge thank you to her home support workers and the doctors and nurses at the DECRH for taking such great care of her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held in the Doaktown Baptist Cemetery on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
