Obituary of Allison Albert Doak

The passing of Allison Albert Doak of Doaktown, NB, occurred on September 18, 2022 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.  Born on June 8, 1939 in Doaktown, NB, he was the son of the late Delbert Doak and Naida (Mitchell) Ryan. Allison had worked at the JD Irving Sawmill in Doaktown right out of high school, until his retirement. He played guitar, enjoyed skiing, snowshoeing and especially loved to play chess.

Allison is survived by his sister, Delia Storey (late Dennis); half-brother, Elvis Coughlan; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Mae Louise Johnston and Beverley Doak.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held at the Doaktown Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 2 pm.
