Obituary of Charles Andrew Cusack

The passing of Charles “Andy” Andrew Cusack of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Anne (Theriault) Cusack, occurred on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Hospice House in Fredericton.  Born on February 13, 1950 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Theresa (Doherty) Cusack.  Andy worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed working in his shed, up-cycling old items he acquired and woodworking. Andy loved to help people any way that he could, from offering a helping hand to passing on items others may need.

Andy is survived by his children, Peter Cusack (Lesley) and Lisa Cusack; step-children, Al Brideau and Tommy Brideau (Debbie); grandchildren, Nicholas, William, Jacob, Amy, Eric, Gabriel, Caitlyn; siblings, Brenda Porter (Doug), Janice Breton (John), Cora Lynn Colford (Mike), Margie Sutton (Paul), Bob Cusack (Marilyn), Beverley Michaud; sisters-in-law, Gail Cusack, Caroline Cusack; several nieces and nephews.


Besides his parents and wife, Andy was predeceased by his brothers, Ernie Cusack and Kirk Cusack.

 

A visitation and reception will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm and will be followed directly by a Graveside Service in St. Anthony's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to New Brunswick Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
