WHITLOCK, FLOYD NELSON
The passing of Floyd Nelson Whitlock of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at home. Born on August 20, 1946 in Fredericton, NB he was a son of the late Nelson and Mona (Buchanan) Whitlock.

Floyd worked many years at Plume’s Garage on Main Street, Fredericton and later worked at various jobs. He loved to meet people and had a heart of gold. You could always count on him to lend a hand when ever needed. You would always find Floyd sitting at McDonald’s Main Street every morning having coffee and chatting with the boys.
Floyd also enjoyed going to the Boyce Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning. He was always eager to give a helping hand to many of the vendors when needed. He loved nothing better than enjoying a cold beer while watching Nascar on tv or going to a race track to watch stock car races. He also liked watching his ball games on tv, as he liked the Toronto Blue Jays. Floyd was an excellent crib player as he had played in numerous cribbage tournaments over the years. Also, he enjoyed bowling for many years and enjoyed ice fishing in the winter. He was a past member of the Fredericton Fish and Game Association.
Floyd will be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of those who had the good fortune to know him.
