Obituary of Wayne Joseph Cleveland

The passing of Wayne Joseph Cleveland of Stanley, NB, occurred on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on January 8, 1954, he was a son of the late Boyd and Elise (McAloon) Cleveland. 

Wayne is survived by his son, Aaron Merrill; grandchildren, Jacob and Brady; siblings, Richard Cleveland (Jacquie), Ralph Cleveland, Theresa McColl, Elaine Ross (Roger) and Daniel Cleveland (Heather); nieces and nephews, Jason, Matthew, Adrienne, Jessica, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Sarah, Andrew, Joseph, Timothy, Benjamin, Brittany and Mallory.

Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Terry McColl.

There will be no visitation by request. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stanley, NB on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1 pm with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan as celebrant. A reception will follow the service in the church basement.  Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Just for Friends Food Bank, Stanley, NB or to a charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
