Obituary of Margaret Ethel Munn

With heavy hearts the family of Margaret E. Munn, wife of the late Winston Munn, wishes to announce her unexpected passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, March 11, 2024, with her family by her side.  Margaret was born on January 17, 1940; she was 84 years of age.

 

Margaret is survived by her son, Vaughan and chosen son, Vivian (Candace); daughters, Anna Mae (Boo Boo), Mary Jane (Perry), Trusella (Eric), Majorie (Fred), Lois (Bob), and one estranged daughter; sisters, Bertha, Laura, and Doreen; brother, Harold; chosen daughters, Brenda, Carolyn and Greta; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, with whom she loved dearly; and close friends, Barb, Audrey and Robert.

 

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her mother, Christina Conroy and step-father, Desmond Conroy; sisters, Olive and Etta; brothers, Vivian, Arch and Tom.

 

Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 2 pm with Pastor Rob Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Cameron Hill Cemetery, Holtville, NB at a later date. The family requests no flowers at this time. Donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Upper Miramichi Lions Club in Boiestown. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
